Blockdaemon Integrates Liquid Collective’s Ecosystem

Blockdaemon, a leading crypto infrastructure provider, has announced the addition of Liquid Collective’s ecosystem to its platform. This integration will enable developers to contribute to the ETH liquid staking protocol.

Support for Liquid Staked ETH (LsETH)

Blockdaemon is now supporting Liquid Staked ETH (LsETH) minting, redemption, and custody. This move will see “LsETH” integrated as the liquid staking solution in the Blockdaemon Wallet product.

Exclusive Liquid Staking Solution

Konstantin Richter, Founder and CEO of Blockdaemon, expressed the company’s commitment to the Liquid Collective. He stated, “Our decision to make LsETH the exclusive liquid staking solution within the Blockdaemon Wallet strongly reflects our commitment and enthusiasm for joining the Liquid Collective.”

Blockdaemon’s impressive client list includes Blockchange, Plaid, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, and B2C2. The infrastructure firm is backed by prominent entities such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Softbank Vision Fund, ARK Invest, and Salesforce Ventures.

Funding and Network Support

In a Series A funding round in 2021, Blockdaemon raised $28 million, with Greenspring Associates leading the investment. Notable participants in the funding round included Goldman Sachs, BlockFi, Warburg Serres, Uphold, and Hard Yaka. Blockdaemon provides support for various blockchain networks, including ETH 2.0, Bitcoin, Cardano, Polkadot, Cosmos, SKALE, MobileCoin, and the Lightning Network.

Enhanced Services for Clients

This recent expansion will empower Blockdaemon’s clients to mint and redeem LsETH directly from their Blockdaemon account, where they can also securely custody their LsETH. The company stated that liquid staking through the Liquid Collective protocol will be part of its integrated business solutions, which encompass node operations, APIs, staking solutions, and wallet services.
