Pontem Launches AI-Powered Chatbot Pontem.ai
Product development studio Pontem has announced the launch of an AI-powered chatbot named Pontem.ai, designed to operate as a “full-scale AI crypto assistant.”
A Crypto Trader’s Best Friend
The chatbot, currently in its beta version, aims to provide comprehensive support to cryptocurrency traders. It can answer questions on emerging news and topics within the crypto ecosystem, as well as educate users on activities such as purchasing NFTs, yield farming, and staking.
According to co-founder Alejo Pinto, the Pontem.ai chatbot will undergo additional development before its official release due to the need for extensive training, as the basic ChatGPT model lacks knowledge of crypto developments after September 2021.
A Valuable Up-to-Date Resource for the Industry
Pontem.ai is expected to offer enhanced features in the future, including image generation capabilities to display price charts and technical indicators for specific coins. The chatbot aims to surpass existing crypto chatbots in the market by providing a broader set of features and a more diverse range of information sources, covering Move, Ethereum DeFi, and more.
Pontem aims to continuously update the chatbot’s model by integrating curated data from Pontem’s own content, on-chain data, content by Aptos Foundation, and top blockchain projects, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for the industry.
Pontem Completes Successful Seed Round
In a recent funding round, Pontem secured $6 million in investments from leading firms such as Wintermute, Kraken Ventures, Lightspeed Faction, and Pantera Capital. These funds will support the development of innovative products for the Aptos ecosystem and beyond.
The team also plans to integrate the chatbot with its existing inventions, Liquidswap AMM and Pontem wallet, to enhance the user experience for on-chain trading and analysis.
While Pontem.ai is currently compatible with MetaMask, Facebook & Twitter, Gmail, and major Aptos wallets, a formal release date for the chatbot is yet to be announced.
