Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Helius Labs, explained the difference between implementation bugs and design flaws. He emphasized that addressing implementation issues is more straightforward compared to dealing with fundamental design flaws.

Mumtaz likened the situation to car design, highlighting that while all cars have basic components, the implementation can vary. Similarly, Solana’s current issue is more like a need for a “tire change” rather than a complete redesign.

The fix for Solana’s implementation bug is scheduled for April 15, pending successful testing. Mumtaz mentioned that a more advanced solution will be implemented later on.

Anza, a Solana-focused software development shop, outlined its plan to address network congestion by working on its Solana validator client implementation, Agave. The core issue relates to a QUIC implementation, and efforts are underway to diagnose and remedy bottlenecks.

Despite these challenges, trading, fiat withdrawal, and deposit functionalities on the Solana blockchain remain unaffected.
